Paying from Belgium follows a predictable pattern: you deposit with the Bancontact card or the app, and what comes out lands on your account. Payconiq by Bancontact was renamed Bancontact Pay in March 2026. Bancontact is the national standard and therefore everywhere, with a threshold that rarely drops under €5.

What is EPIS?
